What should we wear?
Keep it simple, comfortable, and coordinated — not matching. Neutrals, earth tones, or soft colors photograph beautifully. Avoid logos and bold patterns if possible. I can send you a style guide with outfit inspiration and tips for dressing the whole family without the stress.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s totally okay — it happens! I approach every session with patience and playfulness. I’ll guide your family with gentle prompts and fun activities that bring out real smiles and natural connection. Some of the best moments come when things don’t go perfectly!
Can you recommend any good locations?
I’ve got a list of favorite Twin Cities spots — from scenic parks and lakes to cozy urban corners. If you have a place that’s special to your family (like your backyard, a favorite trail, or even your home), I’d love to shoot there too!
Can extended family join in?
Definitely! I offer extended family sessions that include multiple family groups and generations. These sessions include a variety of groupings — full family, grandkids with grandparents, siblings, and more.
